For their third collaboration, two British design houses, Barbour and Paul Smith, return with - Paul Smith loves Barbour: A Highland Odyssey - a playful celebration of the traditions, character and eccentricity of the Scottish Highland Games.
The AW26 campaign sees the return of Paul and Baz as they make their way to Scotland for The Braemar Gathering. But Linda has other plans for Baz - and, having arrived two months early, the pair find themselves at the Games’ training ground instead. What follows is a series of unexpected encounters with an eclectic cast of local characters, set against the dramatic landscape of the Highlands.
Directed by Leonn Ward, the film continues the cinematic world established in previous seasons, blending understated British humour with an offbeat narrative and a celebration of British heritage, craftsmanship and the unexpected.
The 38-piece dual-gender collection brings Barbour’s outdoor heritage together with Paul Smith’s signature colour and wit. Classic outerwear silhouettes are reimagined in rich seasonal colourways and unexpected fabrications, including Merino wool and corduroy, alongside knitwear, shirting, footwear and accessories.
At the heart of the collection, Paul Smith gives an exclusive new interpretation to two of Barbour’s Original and Authentic Tartans - Classic Tartan and Muted Tartan - introducing vibrant pinks, oranges and yellows to the traditional setts. The exclusive tartans appear throughout the collection as linings, trims and statement fabrics.
From reworked Beaufort and Transport Jackets to jewel-toned knitwear, patchworked tartan shirting, Chelsea and Tall Wellies, the collection celebrates the meeting of two distinct British perspectives.
